Playgroup is a great opportunity your child to become familiar with our school, engage in a range of activities that will help develop the skills your child will need throughout their school life.
Playgroup curriculum has been designed with great care, keeping in mind that this may be the first time a child is away from the parents or caregivers.
The teachers are specially trained to encourage children to develop a sense of comfort and confidence as they settle into school routines.
Engaging activities in the classroom and outdoors add value and interest to each day with a wide range of especially chosen manipulates and other learning materials.

Nursery

Nursery children posses an ever expanding set of language and social skills as they begin to settle down to the idea of being on their own. Our nursery curriculum aims to fulfill their quest for knowledge and enables them to have a better understanding of world around them.
Various activities are used to introduce the concept of taking turns and sharing toys and games and to reinforce math and language learning. Art materials such as clay, crayons, markers, paints and collage materials are a creative favorite with most children in this age group these skills helps in developing the gross motor skills and the child.Authentic learning that is relent to the lives of children and makes them responsive and responsible. Music sessions and rhyme time to encourage children to develop auditory and language skills.

Kindergarten

At kindergarten level for our children learning becomes structured and systematic emphasizing on recognition of capital and small alphabets through phonic and whole word recognition through sight reading.
The children in kindergarten have longer attention spans they begin to experience themes and activities that broaden their horizons.

• Number identification and sequencing through numerical literacy tools.

VALUE EDUCATION
Design of Pre-school – site & surrounding – building plan – safety precautions – planning indoor & outdoor space – interest areas – setting up a pre-school classroom – equipment & materials in a pre-school.

Paper 2
SCHOOL MANAGEMENT
Age for admission – Duration – Pre-school admission procedure – children with special needs – Time table – General principles – policies & procedure – characteristics of director – duties of a director – maintenance of records & register – various types of records & registers – role of a teacher in pre-school activity – staff structure – teacher children ratio – qualification and definition of a good teacher – parents meetings.

Paper 3
Diet & Nutrition
Nutrition for pre-school children – Deficiency/Disease among pre-school children – common childhood illness, tantrums, anxiety, fear, aggression, crying, etc.

Paper 4
Child Psychology
Teacher should know psychology of little kids who has not even started speaking. She should know the body language of the toddlers and anticipate next step of action. It’s all about that learning.
