Festival/Event Celebrations –
Daffodils gives a lot of preference to the extensive celebration of festivals and encourages kids to participate in all the festivities. The following festivals/events are celebrated in our school –

1. Gokul Ashtami – The significance of the festival is imparted to the children. Birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated by the students in the form on Dahi Handi, where the Jr. And Sr. K.G. kids break the Handi, while the Play group and Nursery kids cheer them on!

2. Raksha Bandhan - On this day the boys and girls swear eternal friendship and make each other their brother/sister with the beautiful ritual of tying a Rakhi. The meaning of the festival is explained to them.

3. Independence Day – Daffodils tries to imbibe the feeling of patriotism and love for our country India to celebrate the Independence Day. The Tricolour Flag is displayed to the children and the significance of each colour is made clear. Fancy dress and recitation competitions also held.

4. Diwali – The festival of lights is celebrated with a wonderful Diwali Party where the students dress up in traditional clothes and participate in fun activities.

5. Christmas – Santa Claus welcomes the children into the school on this day. The meaning of the festival is explained and a nice Christmas party celebration is a topping on the cake! 

6. Holi – On this festival of colours, the teachers play Holi with students with dry eco-friendly colours.

7. Colour Days (Green, Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange, Pink, White and Black) – Colour days are celebrated in Daffodils, where children are asked to dress up in the respective colour and activities related to that colour are take.
